Kinfauns

Kinfauns was George and Pattie Harrison's house in Surrey, England from 1964 to 1970. "It was the first one I saw, and I thought, that'll do," said George of the bungalow. George and Pattie painted the outside of the house psychedelically and had The Fool paint their fireplace. The furniture and decor had a great Indian influence.  Once, Mick Jagger and Marianne Faithfull arrived at the house while George and Pattie were out and left a message painted on the house: "Mick and Marianne were here & we love you." Pattie and George often posed for couple photos around the home, and Pattie took the famous photo of them in front of their rose trellis. The Beatles often gathered at the house, and recorded many demos for the White Album there in 1968. In 1969, Pattie and George were arrested at Kinfauns for drug possession by the infamous Sgt. Norman Pilcher. They moved out in 1970 to the eccentric Friar Park.
